Hong Kong, 12th January 2023 - Alphalion was honoured to participate in the 16th Asian Financial Forum (January 11-12, 2023) organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). It was the first on-site AFF since the outbreak of the epidemic in 2020. Thousands of business leaders, senior government officials and thought leaders from more than 70 countries or regions were brought together in the forum to resolve global financial issues and seek cooperation opportunities.
As one of the representatives of the innovators and achievers of the Hong Kong Fintech industry, we have proudly shared our solutions and product suites with investors and market influencers. We have also explored the latest trend in the market by exchanging ideas with global experts.
With this year’s theme being Accelerating Transformation: Impact ∙ Inclusion ∙ Innovation, AFF will examine the current state of the global economy and explore significant issues, such as trade and sustainable development, across more than 40-panel discussions and workshops. Given the interest in hot-button social issues related to international finance and topics such as climate change, health policy, energy and environmental protection, food and agriculture – in addition to the emergence of new economic models from rapid fintech developments like Web 3 and the Metaverse –, this year’s forum will launch the Global Spectrum series, while continuing to organize Fireside Chats, to help participants stay current in a broader scope of matters affecting the latest global situation.
